- Clouds in transition by glaciation. A process similar to Castellanus and Floccus has created lines of high, supercooled water cloud that quickly freeze to become dense, hairy rows of elements with short fallstreaks. Although all clouds began unfrozen, they are now almost all frozen into an atypical example of Cirrus Floccus clouds.
