- Low clouds in mountains with fog: Stratus sheet and Stratus Fractus
- W983296T
- Low clouds abound in mountains. A thick Stratus sheet rests on lower hills but ends below the mountain peak. As rising air currents commence, the upper parts are drawn into the air as Stratus Fractus clouds. Above all this is a Stratocumulus layer, beginning to thin in the warming air.
